VIRGINIA BEACH-- A sixth-grader is facing disciplinary action after he allegedly brought a knife to Kempsville Middle School Monday.

Virginia Beach City School spokeswoman Jennifer McCarrel said the student allegedly threatened or showed three students a box cutter in the school yard.

McCarrel said the students told administrators about the incident.

Nobody was injured.

'Appropriate disciplinary action has been recommended for the student,' McCarrel said.
