NEWPORT NEWS -- Bad weather delayed a capital murder case in Newport News Circuit Court.

Jury selection is expected to resume Wednesday in John Ragin's trial after being postponed because of Tuesday's snow storm.

Ragin is charged with murdering his wife and her three children back in 2011, but he denies he did it.

Prosecutors say Ragin stabbed them multiple times and set their bodies on fire.Police say Ragin then fled the murder scene with his son, winding up at his parents home in South Carolina. That's where he was arrested.

Jury selection is expected to last through the end of the week.
