NORFOLK -- Part of the area got a bit of a break after soaking rains this morning, but rain is returning this afternoon and will last into the early evening.Winds are increasing with gusts hitting 45 MPHat the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.

Your afternoon commute will likely be wet and expect traffic troubles.A level one wind restriction is in place at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnell, meaning large vehicles or vehicles with trailers cannot cross.

Tide levels for the next couple of rounds of high tide will be 1.5 to 2 feet above normal, causing some nuisance to minor flooding in some areas.

This morning, police responded to several accidents, including an overturned tractor-trailer on I-264 near Newtown Road in Virginia Beach.

Jennifer Avery Barnhardt posted on the WVEC13 Facebook page, 'This just happened about 5 car lengths in front of me, the driver is OK the truck fell on the passenger side.'

A car that went off the road and down the embankment on the I-264 West off ramp to Witchduck Road in Virginia Beach.

The good news...the weekend forecast looks great with partly to mostly sunny skies on Saturday with highs in the upper 50's and low to mid 50's on Sunday.
