CHESAPEAKE, VA - A fire Sunday morning in the South Norfolk section of Chesapeake has displaced a family of three.

According to a news release, Fire units were called out to a reported structure fire in the 1300 block of Hull Street at 10:49 a.m. When they arrived about 6 minutes later, they found heavy flames coming from a two-story house. We're told firefighters had the fire under control in about 20 minutes. The cause of the fire appears to be electrical in nature, and started on the exterior of the home.

There were no injuries, and the Red Cross has been contacted to assist the displaced family.
