NORFOLK- Tropical Depression #2 has formed in the CentralTropicalAtlanticOcean, according to theNationalHurricaneCenter.

As of 5PMMonday, the storm was located about 1200 miles east of the Lesser Antilles, with maximum sustained winds of 35 MPH with higher wind gusts.

The storm is not expected to get much stronger over the next couple of days. If it becomes a tropical storm, it would be named Bertha.

This system is a long way out in the Atlantic and nothing to worry about at this time.However, we will monitor it's development and let you know if it becomes a greater concern to the East Coast.
