NORFOLK - Police say a man was shot early Monday in Norfolk.
Investigators were on the scene at an apartment complex in the 900 block of E. Princess Anne Road for a couple of hours after being called around 5:30 a.m.
Police say the victim had been taken to the hospital in a car and rushed into surgery.
He was in stable condition Monday afternoon, Officer Chris Amos told WVEC.com.
There was no information about suspects or the circumstances of the shooting.
