EXMORE - A cat didn't have to use one of its nine lives to get down from a large tree.

On December 7, Station 13, Community Fire Co., responded to a cat stuck in a tree.

Engine 13-4 arrived and learned the cat was at the top of an oak tree. So, afirefighter went up a 24-foot extension ladder as the cat's owners watched.

They both got down safely, as the photos from Eastern Shore Fire show.
