SUFFOLK -- Nightingale airlifted a driver to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital following a crash on South Quay Road at Holy Neck Road in Holland.

City spokeswoman Diana Klink said the wreck involved a farm-use truck and a sedan.

Police believe the sedan hit the truck from behind, then hit a tree at about 5:45 p.m. Sunday.

Several people tried to help the driver of the sedan before rescue units got there.

Although Nightingale flew him to the hospital, Klink described his injuries as 'non-life threatening.'
