NORFOLK -- Three men wearing masks and carrying guns robbed people in a Norfolk home early Thursday.

It happened around 12:20 a.m. on 42nd Street near Colley Avenue, according to a safety warning emailed to students at Old Dominion University.

The email says the suspects knocked on the door and displayed guns when the door was opened. They stole electronics and cash and fled on foot.

The advisory reminds students to check who is at the door before opening and not to open doors to people you don't know.

If you know anything about this home invasion, call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
