CHESAPEAKE - Investigators say fire that claimed the life of a Chesapeake woman may have started because flammable items were too close to a heat source.

On Friday, the released the victim's name - 37-year-old Lisa Dial.

Fire started in one of the bedrooms of her Crossbow Court home early Thursday.

Fire officials say they arrived around 4:40 a.m. and saw smoke coming from the back of the house.

Investigators told WVEC.com there were smoke detectors in the home and firefighters who were first on the scene reported hearing them as they went inside.
