SUFFOLK - Police say they caught men in the act of burglarizing a technology school in Suffolk.
The Pruden Center for Industry and Technology provides students with career and technical instruction in areas like auto collision and construction.
Police charged Antonio Beale, Lamont David and Charles Hyman with trying to steal items from the center around 2:30 a.m. on Friday, March 24.
An alarm had gone off and officers heard noises coming from inside the building, so they searched and found two of the three men, city spokesman Tim Kelly told WVEC.com. The investigation led to the arrest of the third person.
No items were missing.
The three are charged with Breaking and Entering with Intent to Commit Felony, Conspiracy to Commit Felony, and Possession of Burglary Tools.
