HAMPTON -- Hampton Police have released a surveillance photo in hopes that someone can identify the man they believe robbed a business on West Mercury Boulevard Saturday.

Police say an N-Telos clerk was met at the rear door of the business by a suspect who implied he had a weapon inside his sweatshirt.

The suspect reportedly walked with the employee into the business and demanded money. He received cash and fled on foot.

Nobody was injured during the robbery.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black Pittsburgh Pirates baseball cap, a gray hooded sweatshirt, a black and white camouflage t-shirt, black sunglasses and a medical mask to conceal his identity.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
