NORFOLK -- Volunteers built a playset for a Norfolk boy Thursday, who is being treated for Myelodysplastic Syndrome at CHKD.

Keller-Williams and the Roc Solid Foundation partnered to build the playset for 7-year-old Jason Dunn as part of Roc Solid's Play It Forward program, which has constructed playsets for pediatric cancer patients throughout the southeast.

Each year on the second Thursday in May, Keller-Williams Realty associates from across the U.S. and Canada celebrate 'Red Day,' choosing local projects in the communities they serve. This year, the Western Branch team chose to support the Roc Solid Foundation.

Founded in 2009 by pediatric cancer survivor Eric Newman, the Roc Solid Foundation has become known for its many efforts to support children battling cancer.
