VIRGINIA BEACH-- Police have arrested a suspect in the robbery of a woman who was making a night depost at a Town Center bank in November.

22-year-old Marquites Anthony Garvin is charged with robbery, abduction, and wearing a mask in public.

Police say that around 11:30 p.m. on Nov. 7, a woman was making a deposit at the Towne Bank in the 200 block of Constitution Drive when she was attacked.

According to police, the suspect jumped out of the bushes, grabbed the victim and placed an unknown object in her back.

A person the victim's car heard her scream and allegedly saw the suspect grab the deposit bag and take off running.

Garvin is currently being held in the Virginia Beach Correctional Center without bond.
