HAMPTON - Tattoos: They're art or just ugly, depending on who you talk to.
In Hampton this weekend, tattoo artists from across the country are taking part in the third annual Hampton Roads Tattoo Arts Festival.
It's March 1-3 at the Hampton Roads Convention Center and will feature on-site tattoos, a Little Tikes Temporary Tattoo Contest, a children's art camp, skate deck contest (20 skateboard decks decorated by tattoo artists) and more.
Three contestants from the second season of the Spike network's InkMaster will be tattooing at the festival, including Jesse Smith of Loose Screw Tattoo, Lalo of Lalo Tattoos, and Kay Kutta.

$25 Daily; $45 Weekend Pass (all 3 days); $35 Military Weekend Pass; children 12 and under free
Friday, March 1 - Noon until 12 Midnight
Saturday, March 2 - 10:00 a.m. until 12 Midnight
Sunday, March 3 - Noon until 8:00 p.m.
