NORFOLK -- A Newport News man pleaded guilty Monday to use of a firearm in connection with the death of Lloyd Robinson in 2010.

Mustafah Kalil Muhammad, 27, admitted to his participation in the drug-related home invasion and murder of Robinson, according to the U.S. States Attorney.

Muhammad is said to be part of a street gang called 'Thug Relations,' which was primarily located at apartment complexes in Newport News.

Muhammad faces a maximum penalty of life in prison when he is sentenced on July 23, 2014, in Norfolk.
