ASHLAND, OHIO -- Accused killer Nathan Summerfield waived extradition and will be back in Dare County, NC Friday night or Saturday, authorities say.

He'll then be to return him to Dare County, North Carolina to face charges in the death of Lynn Jackenheimer.

The two were vacationing with her children on Hatteras Island over the July 4 holiday. He returned to Ashland, Ohio with the children and allegedly told his brother he'd killed Jackenheimer.

After a nearly month-long search, the 27-year-old was arrested Wednesday morning at a hotel in Wadsworth, Ohio, using the name Jake Summerfield.

Once returned, Summerfield will be served with the Murder warrant and taken before a judicial official for the purposes of setting bond.

The sheriff's office says evidence regarding the murder charge will be presented to the Dare County Grand Jury on September 10.
