HAMPTON-More than two dozen cars in one Hampton neighborhood were targeted by thieves.

Police say the owners woke up on October 12 and found electronics, money, wallets and other items had been taken.

Authorities say most of the 29 vehicles in the Fox Hill neighborhood were unlocked.

Anyone with information about these larcenies can call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.

Hampton Police remind everyone the best way to avoid being a victim of this kind of crime is to remove valuables and lock the doors.

In the meantime, officers will be patrolling in the area.
