CURRITUCK COUNTY -- Crews are cleaning up after a partial roof collapse at a gas station in Currituck County Thursday night.

The incident happened at the Shell gas station near Courthouse Road and Route 168 around 6:45 p.m., according to Randall Edwards with Currituck County Emergency Services.

That's when the canopy over a group of gas pumps gave way, Edwards said. No cars were damaged and no injuries were reported.

The business is still open, but the pumps in question are currently out of service.The cause of the collapse is still under investigation.
