PORTSMOUTH -- Police are trying to find two armed men who they say robbed a tax service last month.
Police said on January 25 suspects entered Liberty Tax Service located in the 100 block of Chowan Drive, indicated they had a gun and demanded money a female employee.
The men fled with cash. No one inside the business was injured during the incident.
Police say the business was robbed on a day they were offering cash incentives for people getting their taxes done.
The first suspect is described as a black man, approximately 5'11' to 6' tall, between 26 and 28 years old and weighing approximately 165 to 180 pounds. The man was last seen wearing a black coat, blue jeans, white sneakers and brown scarf covering his face.
The second suspect is described as a dark-skinned black male, approximately 5'8' to 5'9' tall, between the ages of 22 and 26 years old and weighing 250 to 280 pounds. The man was last seen wearing a black coat, black hooded sweat shirt, blue jeans, red and black sneakers and had facial hair. The suspect was armed with a large survival knife.
