VIRGINIA BEACH -- A 13-year-old girl waiting for the school bus Thursday morning says a man approached her and allegedly made inappropriate physical contact, according to police.

According to Virginia Beach Police, 'The victim did not scream when the incident occurred. She was in shock as to what just happened and fell to the ground. There was no force used against the victim; no injuries. And there were no attempts to abduct the victim.'

Police say the incident happened at approximately 8:35 a.m.

The incident occurred at Bold Ruler and Kittimal Drive in the Ocean Lakes area of the city. The 13-year-old female victim reported she was alone at her bus stop when she was approached by the unknown suspect.

The victim described a vehicle she had seen prior to the incident as a blue SUV type vehicle but it is UNKNOWN if related to this event.

The victim and a friend who observed the suspect running called the victim's parent and once at Corporate Landing Middle School the proper authorities were notified.

The suspect is described as a white male, 19-20 years of age wearing a gray shirt and either light colored blue jeans or baggy jean shorts.

The case is currently under investigation and will keep you updated with any further details.
