MOYOCK, NC--Deputies with the Currituck County Sheriff's Office seized more than two dozen gambling machines from the Border Station near Chesapeake Tuesday morning.

Chief Deputy Matt Beickert said deputies seized 25 internet gaming machines.

According to Beickert, the machines were seized after undercover deputies played the games.

Games of chance with cash or point payouts are illegal in North Carolina.

Beickert said deputies also videotaped themselves playing games and getting cash payouts this morning.

Employees at the Border Station declined to comment.
