NORFOLK -- Norfolk Police took a man into custody at the Norfolk International Airport early Tuesday morning.

Police said around 8:45 a.m. a passenger who had just flown to Norfolk asked a Hertz rental car agent to call police after he said another passenger on his flight had been following him.

The man was identified as Demarcus Andrew Sutton.

Airport police ran Sutton's name through a database and found he had an outstanding warrant against him.

Norfolk Police arrested Sutton on an outstanding warrant for revocation of suspended sentence and probation.

According to court records, Sutton had previously pleaded guilty to bribery and trespassing.
