NORFOLK- Acommercial coffee roaster was the source of a fire that damaged the Norfolk Coffee and Tea Company building in the 200 block of 18th Street Tuesday morning.

Fire crews were called to the scene at 10:41 AM and found heavy smoke pouring from the roof of the building.

Three employees inside the building were notified by a passerby about the smoke and safely evacuated. One of the employees was treated at the scene and released.

Firefighters discovered a small fire in a commercial coffee roaster which generated the smoke.

It took about 20 minutes to put the fire out.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
