SUFFOLK -- A portion of Route 58 in Suffolk was shut down Monday afternoon as crews worked to clear an accident involving two trucks.

Emergency personnel received the call in the 1900 block of Portsmouth Boulevard along Route 58 around 2:30 p.m., according to police.

That's where a dump truck and an empty flat-bed truck collided which resulted in one of the vehicles landing in a nearby ditch. Nobody was hurt.

Two lanes remain closed at this time. The cause of the crash is now under investigation.
