WVEC ABC13, a subsidiary of the Gannett Corp. has an immediate opening for high-energy, results-driven Integrated Digital Account Executive. This outside sales position will be responsible for generating revenue by prospecting and selling advertising on WVEC.com and our related digital products.
The Integrated Digital Account Executive is responsible for achieving goals individually and in a team environment by working with in-house Television Account Executives as well as prospecting for new business. The successful candidate has a proven history of reaching decision makers at the highest level, closing significant and successful integrated advertising campaigns, and achieving revenue goals through long-term growth. This person will have the ability to collaborate with top sales people along with sales managers and key decision makers to generate ideas and revenue for the team.
Responsibilities include website ad management, client relations, delegation of administrative duties, proposal preparation and presentations to a diverse customer base of direct clients. Understanding of web marketing and internet commerce are essential. Position requires excellent organization, negotiation, and customer service skills. Individual must be proficient in design of presentations including layout and the use of graphics.
Bachelors degree in Advertising, Marketing or related discipline preferred. Minimum 2-3 years outside sales experience required with top candidates having a minimum of 2 years digital sales experience. Top candidates will have a proven track record of performance against sales goals and have experience managing high level, multi-product digital campaigns.
Requires excellent communications skills including ability to compose and deliver strong, creative sales presentations. Must have excellent oral, presentation and written communication skills. Strong organizational, multi tasking and deadline oriented skills are essential.
