ARLINGTON--Two sailors who's remains were found with the USS Monitor will be buried with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery.
The two will be placed alongside three crewmen already interred at Arlington.
'So in a way, they are going back to be with their shipmates and ultimately there is going to be a monument constructed there that is a tribute to all 16 men who perished the night of the sinking,' said David Krop, director of the USS Monitor Center at the Mariners' Museum.
On display at center are re-imagined mock-ups of the two uknown sailors.
Friday, March 8, marks 151 years since the famous Battle of Hampton Roads between the ironclads Monitor and Merrimac.
The interment ceremony at Arlington is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. and is open to the public.
