Update 1:27 p.m.: The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Shayne Christopher Blose of Windsor. He's in stable condition, police say.
Arrested is 23-year-old Benjamin Hassle Wade III of the 5400 block of Pruden Boulevard in Suffolk, on charges of aggravated assault, shoot, cut, stab or wound, and robbery. Wade is currently being held at Western Tidewater Regional Jail on no bond.
Police say this happened after the two got into a fight at Wade's home.

SUFFOLK - A man was stabbed late Tuesday night in Suffolk.

Authorities learned of the incident when he showed up at the hospital for treatment around 11:30 p.m., said City spokeswoman Diana Klink.

Authorities believe man, in his mid-20s, was stabbed several times at an acquaintance's home in the 5400 block of Pruden Boulevard following a physical altercation between the two individuals.

A woman drove him to Sentara Obici Hospital. He was transferred to Sentara Norfolk General and underwent surgery, Klink added.

The victim's wounds were non-life threatening and he is currently listed in stable condition at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital following surgery this morning.
