VIRGINIA BEACH -- You do not need a photo ID to vote in Tuesday's election. The registrar in Virginia Beach says the new voter ID law doesn't go into effect until July of next year.

The new law will require every voters' identification have a photo on it.

Registrar Donna Patterson says she's been getting lot of calls from people who think the requirement starts Tuesday.

'Your Virginia voter registration card is one form of ID, and if you have that, that's really the only thing you need,' explains Patterson.

Other forms of ID include a driver's license, military ID or a current utility bill.
