NORFOLK -- Police are searching for a driver who led state troopers on a high-speed pursuit through Norfolk Friday night.

A state trooper attempted to make a traffic stop in Virginia Beach around 8 p.m., according to Virginia State Police spokesperson Sgt. Michelle Anaya. A pursuit ensued on I-264 after the vehicle failed to stop.

Police say the driver of the vehicle exited on brambleton before being corned by two state troopers near Princess Anne Road and Church Street.

The three occupants inside the car then took off on foot, Anaya said. Two of the occupants were captured and are now being questioned.The driver of the vehicle is still at-large.
