NORFOLK--Alternative singer-songwriter and frontman to the band Toad the Wet Sprocket Glen Phillips, will headline the 6th annual Sealevel Singer-Songwriter Festival in the spring. The festival benefits Tidewater Arts Outreach, a group that provides arts to area nursing homes, and will be held from April 4th through 6th next year.

The group announced it's line up during an outdoor concert next to Tidewater Community College in downtown Norfolk Tuesday. The show featured the trio Big Wide Grin and local singer-songwriter Nate Sacks.

Phillips will headline the kick-off concert at Norfolk's Naro Expanded Cinema on April 4th. The festival also features a musical instrument art auction and an emerging artist showcase.
