NORFOLK -- The U.S. Marshals Service arrested a murder suspect hiding out at a home in Hampton Sunday.

Larry Whitehead Jr. was taken into custody after a two month investigation that spanned over three separate states, according to a U.S. Marshal spokesperson.

Whitehead had an outstanding warrant in Florida charging him with first degree murder, armed burglary, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Whitehead was booked into the Hampton City Jail with no bond.
