NORFOLK -- Salsa's Mexican Grill in Gloucester is wrapping up its four-day Cinco de Mayo celebration Monday with pony rides, other children's activities, a dunk tank and live music and plenty of Mexican food to enjoy.
The four-day celebration ends Monday. Events run from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. celebration benefits Lighthouse Worship Center, which will use proceeds for is missions and youth programs.
The goal is to raise $10,000 towards community events and missions for Lighthouse.
Salsa's is located at 4329 George Washington Highway near the intersection with Hickory Fork Road.
Cinco de Mayo is a commemoration of Mexican troops defeating French occupying forces in the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862.
