NORFOLK -- A man who wanted a job application at a Norfolk McDonald's was arrested last week after he allegedly displayed a gun.

Tevin Kievelle Monroe, 31, walked into the McDonald's on St. Paul's Blvd. and asked for a job application, authorities said.

The manager explained the application was available online and that is when Monroe allegedly lifted his shirt to reveal the gun in his waistband.

Authorities said the manager was able to give Monroe a paper application and while he was filling it out, officers arrested him.

Monroe was charged with brandishing a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct.
