NORFOLK -- Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center is getting a makeover.
The state issued a certificate of public need to replace the existing facililty with a 124-acute care bed, state-of-the-art, full-service hospital.
The hospital will have an intensive care unit, obstetrical unit, full service emergency department and an advanced imaging center for MRIs and CTs and other services.
The300,000 square foot, $200 million facility will be on the currentsiteat 150 Kingsley Lane in Norfolk andshould be completed in late 2014.
