NEWPORT NEWS-Police believe a serial robber has struck again. This time, he didn't get any money.

His face was covered when he went into the Kentucky Fried Chicken at 12104 Jefferson Avenue on the night of September 10. He pulled a gun and told the workers to go back of the store.

However, something startled him as he was going to go around the counter and he left.

Investigators say he could be responsible for 10 robberies in their city since November 2011 and some in Hampton and other localities. Most of them have been at Family Dollar stores.

'A lot of descriptions that we've had say he's wearing a fake beard. That's the main thing we've been noticing is that he has a fake beard in most of the robberies,' said Sgt. Jerry Hairston.

Making the cases harder to solve is that the man doesn't leave any physical evidence.

If you know anything about this robbery or the suspect, call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.

'He's just gone on too long terrifying businesses,' Hairston added.
