NORFOLK-- The Norfolk Police Department captured a fugitive on Friday who police say was involved in a bank robbery last year.

According to police, 38-year-old David Grandy was extradited from New York City to Norfolk for allegedly robbing the Old Point National Bank on Granby St. on September 14, 2012.

The Fugitive Squad was able to track down Grandy to Queens, New York where the NYPD and U.S. Marshals took him into custody.

Police say that Grandy faces several charges.
