CURRITUCK CO.--Currituck County authorities say they found signs of a methamphetamine lab at the home of a man hospitalized for burns on his body.

Police say they were contacted Sunday by Albemarle Hospital after a man suffering from burns refused to give them an address.

According to Lindsay Voorhees with the Currituck County Sheriff's Office, deputies went to the 100 block of Taylors Road in Currituck, a known address for the man, and found reason to obtain a search warrant.

Voorhees says that during a search of the home, agents found the signs of a possible methamphetamine lab and drug paraphernalia.

Police say an arrest is pending.
