YORK COUNTY-- Sheriffs deputies have arrested three men they believe are responsible for several daytime burglaries in the Tabb area.

Officers were conducting a burglary patrol on Tuesday around 11:18 a.m, when they saw a suspicious vehicle matching the description of one seen leaving a burglary a few days earlier.

The vehicle was parked on the side of the road in the 100 block of Elm Lake Way. Investigators saw a man approach the car, get in, and drive away.

Police conducted a traffic stop and determined that the 3 suspects in the vehicle were involved with the burglaries.

Arrested were Jaqunanta T. Dewberry, 20, and Jatavus M. Dewberry, 18, both of Royster Drive, Hampton, and Moses D. Deese, 18, of Roan Court, Newport News.

The three were charged with 2 counts of Burglary, 2 counts of Grand Larceny, 2 counts of Possession of Stolen Property, 2 counts of Conspiracy to Commit Burglary, 2 Counts of Conspiracy to Commit Larceny, and 1 count of Possession of Marijuana.

On Monday, authorities said the three were charged in a third burglary - a July 2 burglary on Newtown Drive. Charges in that case are Burglary, Grand Larceny, Larceny of a Firearm, Conspiracy to Commit a Felon, Possession of Stolen Property and Larceny with the Intent to Sell. In addition, Jaquanta Dewberry was charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, authorities stated.
