CHESAPEAKE -- Two adults were displaced after a fire ripped through their Chesapeake home early Tuesday morning.

Firefighters responded to the fire in the 800 block of Mullen Road at 1:47 a.m. Tuesday.

Flames were seen coming from the two-story home when crews arrived on scene, according to Chesapeake Fire Capt. Scott Saunders.

Firefighters managed to knock down the flames in approximately 45 minutes.

No one was injured. The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
