NORFOLK -- Several murals are going up in Norfolk's Art District in an effort to draw interest and more people to the area.

Murals are currently being painted on three buildings, including Bob's Gun Shop and Grace Street Grill.

Public Art Committee Chair Jesse Scaccia said the project is an effort to make the art district more 'real.'

The committee expects several other murals to up up this year and hopes other businesses participate.

The murals are privately-funded projects.
