SUFFOLK -- A man with a gun robbed a nail salon in Suffolk filled with customers and employees.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. Sunday, April 20, at the Rainbow Nail Salon at 1200 block N. Main Street.

City spokeswoman Diana Klink says the manager reported a man wearing a mask and black clothing walked in, pointed a gun and demanded money.

'The manager removed cash from the register and provided it to the gunman, who then fled on foot,' Klink said.

There were several non-English speaking employees and several customers in the business. They weren't hurt or robbed, Klink stressed.

Anyone with information about this robbery should call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
