UPDATE 2 p.m.: Police charged 30-year-old Dontay R. Buford of the 3500 block of Arcadia Street in Norfolk with felonious assault, use of firearm in commission of a felony, and possession of firearm by a convicted felon.

Buford is currently is the Virginia Beach Jail on no bond.

VIRGINIA BEACH -- Three people were wounded in an early morning shooting at a club in Virginia Beach.

Police were called around 1:10 a.m. about a fight at LavishUltra Lounge at 544 Newtown Road in the Newpointe Shopping Center.

One patron said shots were fired inside club.

Police say one of the three victims went to the hospital on his own; the other two were still at the club when medics arrived. The victims' injuries aren't life threatening, said police spokeswoman MPO Tonya Borman.

Crime scene tape was still up at 4:30 a.m., but officers had cleared the scene about 4 a.m.

The investigation into the fight continues and authorities say they're talking with two persons of interest. No charges have been filed.

Police have been to shootings in this area before. In March 2013, three men were shot in the parking lot of the club. It was called Bentley's at that time.
