NORFOLK -- An infant's death is under investigation in Norfolk.
Police spokeswoman Cpl. Melinda Wray said a woman found her six-week old baby boy unresponsive and took him to Fire Station #8, on Frederick Street, around 8:20 a.m.
'The infant was immediately transported to CHKD and was pronounced deceased while en route to the hospital,' she told WVEC.com.
The cause of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner's Office and the case is currently classified as an 'undetermined death investigation, Cpl. Wray added.
