SUFFOLK -- A Suffolk student has been charged after he allegedly brought a 9-inch knife to school in his book bag.

Resource officers and adminstration at King's Fork High School located the truant student, 18-year-old Nathan Cunningham, on campus Friday, according to spokeswoman Diana Klink.

Cunningham did not display the knife in a threatening manner and no students were injured, Klink said.
