SUFFOLK -- Most parents know, it doesn't take long for a two-year-old to get himself or herself into trouble.
That became clear Sunday when a girl locked herself in a car and locked her mother out.
Police got a call about the trouble at a home in the 100 block of Little Fork Road shortly after 5:00 p.m.
The two-year-old girl was in a car seat, and she managed to lock herself in the car.
Her mother did not have another key with her.
Officers got there in less than five minutes. They were getting ready to go into the car when the girl's father got to the house with a spare key.
Medics checked out the two-year-old who was in the car for about 15 minutes. The girl was all right.
Police will not file any charges.
