SUFFOLK- A Suffolk homeowner arrived to find his house in very different shape than when he left it.

Police say the home on Ferry Road is vacant and the owner went there Wednesday to mow the lawn. When he got there, he realized someone had broken into the house. They stole the electric stove, two window air conditioning units, the central AC unit in the back of the house and the thieves had removed much of the copper wiring in the walls.

Police are investigating to determine when the thefts occurred in hopes that someone may have seen unusual activity around the home.

The home has a rezoning notice in the yard.

Anyone with information can call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
