NORFOLK - Police say they're investigating the death of a person found inside a closet in a Norfolk duplex.

Police have been on the scene in the 9300 block of Marlow Avenue since around 10:15 a.m.

Authorities have not released the person's name or any information about the circumstances of the death, but they're calling it suspicious.

13News has confirmed the mother of Jamiel Graves, the man arrested Monday in connection with a Virginia Beach homicide, lived in the apartment where the body was found.

Police tell 13News that the body was found next door to the home of a woman who has been missing for nearly two months.

The family confirms Phylicia Robinson lived in apartment A and police say the body found today was in apartment B.

The 26-year-old woman disappeared on the night of Oct. 3 but left behind her purse, money, cell phone and car. According to her sister, Robinson was planning to go to work but she never showed up.

Her five-year-old son has been staying with relatives.
