ONANCOCK - Three fires in three days and all were intentionally set, investigators in Accomack County believe.

Thursday night's fire was spotted just before 11:00 p.m., bringing firefighters from Onancock, Melfa, Onley and Tasley to the scene on Cashville Road.

Authorities say a old building for agricultural equipment went up in flames.

This fire was about 7 miles from Wednesday night's fire which destroyed the former Mallards Restaurant on Bayside Road.

Tuesday, someone set fire to the vacant Whispering Pines Motel in Tasley.

Va. State Police say there are more than 600 abandoned buildings in Accomack County.

Investigators say they think most of the fires are being set by people familiar with the area and who are working together. They believe some of the others may have been started by copycats.

Anyone with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible can get a $25,000.00 reward. Tips by text, email or phone can be sent to 757-665-1437.
