NORFOLK-There are just a few more days to donate school supplies for students in need through the ABC13 Write Stuff program.

Supplies have been coming in all month at drop-off locations - Farm Fresh grocery stores, Grand Furniture stores and Chick-fil-A restaurant.

The Salvation Army is in charge of assembling your donations and getting them to families in need. Officials say they're pleased with the donations already made and say they still need backpacks, college-ruled loose leaf paper and college-ruled notebooks.

The Write Stuff drive ends August 31 and distribution is under way.

August 27-28 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Portsmouth Corps Community Center, 2306 Airline Boulevard)
August 28-30 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Norfolk Corps Community Center, 5516 Raby Road

Important information on how to apply for supplies and what you need to have with you is on the Salvation Army Website.
